What a week

Hi everyone,
Happy Pride to all.

I haven't been around at all this week.
Pregnancy sure has its ups and downs and this week was by far a difficult one on that front.

My baby shower was last Saturday, it was wonderful!
My love to all who attended.
I hope to get my thank you cards out this week....

However, early that day I began feeling pain on the right side.
It appears some women become stone manufacturing machines during pregnancy and that would be the case with me.

This time kidney stone - right kidney.
I drank plenty of water and tried to pass it at home.
NOPE.
On Tuesday, I had to call Susan to leave the office early to take me to the
hospital where I spent the remainder of the week in the Hospital.

I recall mostly pain and strange forms of "medical torture" most of the week. I
had my first spinal - whoo hoo (really being sarcastic now) and had a minor
surgical proceedure done. They are also suspicious that I may have
Pre-eclampsia. I can bore you with the gory details another time when I feel up
to it.

Not a good week here.
Not up on all the Pride activities - sorry.

To all of you, have a happy Pride Celebration and let me know vicariously how
things went. I will be spending the weekend at home - bed rest.

That's my story and I am sticking to it....
